A few years into a dystopian future, dating is conducted solely through a government sanctioned app called Partner Pairing. The woman has complete control over the man and can give him a strike on the app any time he says something that offends her. Once he accrues three strikes he must report to a purification center to cleanse him of his offensive behavior and language.
